color wifi kit has white screen

Question

loaded weather station color sketch from original have working with adafruit tft and esp8266  i just purchased the color display with wemos d1-r1.  put kit together and loaded same code using arduino  IDE with wemos d1-r1 board .  code compiles and loads.  all i get is white screen.  is there other changes needed for sketch for wemos?  is there a different weather station sketch for this kit?  if so, does anyone have link?  settings are added to iDE libraries from last build.  would appreciate any help. thanks again

We were never able to reproduce any of those issues and concluded it must be caused by defective hardware. However, one of the affected customers claimed they managed to load content onto the display using the https://github.com/Bodmer/TFT_eSPI library instead. Also, none of the affected users so far agreed to send us their malfunctioning kit for analysis. It would be great to conclude the culprit really is the display.
