Wifi color display kit is not working

Hello,

My kit is not working. Compiling goes ok. Wifi scanner goes ok. Then i get a blank screen. When i touch the screen the blue led begins to flicker, Normally the blue led doesnt flicker. I'm an arduino noob, i have no idea. I expected a out of the box working kit. I ordered 5 kits. Another question is i must use the board NodeMCU 1.0 but my kit contains a Wemos D1.

Thank you so much for your order. Here is a little checklist:
- Can you send me a photo of your board display (e.g. by Email)
- Are you really using the code from here? https://github.com/squix78/esp8266-weather-station-color
- Did you change anything in the settings.h file?
