Color display does not work

Question

I just received the kit, and note the board is a WeMos D1 Mini Pro.  I soldered the boards and connectors in a three tier style - display, carrier board, and WeMos, with the WeMos facing "up" when the display is facing "down."  When I load the program, I have tried both the WeMos board type, and the NodeMCU.  The serial port monitor appears to indicate the program is running (no matter which board I picked), however I never even see the screen backlight come on or any display on the screen.

Any ideas?

Can you send me a photo of your setup? Also which pin configuration are you using?

Apologies, but I don't see a way to attach a picture in this forum.  Shall I e-mail you direct?  Or, can you give me a hint on how to attach the picture within the forum?  Also, I did not modify the sketch as far as the pin configuration - should I have?

Daniel graciously pointed out my error in which file I was using - now the display works!
