New to ESP8266 WiFi Color Display Kit, less than a year working with Arduino ide and esp8266. Decades of experience with PIC, INTEL, ZILOG MCU using assembly language and some C. However I have yet to get any examples working. I followed all the instructions, including version is 2.4.2, chip selection, etc. Sometimes I even copied .h files to same folder and changed < & > to "&" to use. Everything I tried I get a blank screen. I did notice LED pin supply was zero so no backlight. I am used to all code needed to compile is in the same folder. When I solved the include problem I get many ascii labels not defined. What am I doing wrong? Please suggest one example that will compile and run display with little added. Thanks, Ray
